Most Memorable Disney Moment
The first time I took my wife & son on The Haunted Mansion was right after eating at Pecos Bill’s. At the part where you pass in front of the mirror with the Hitchhiking Ghost in the middle,a silent cry of a digesting dinner escaped me. We went on two more times, and the exact same thing happened in the exact same spot. When we got home, my son told everyone the story of his favorite ride, The Haunted Mansion, and the part of the “Farting Ghost”.

Hi Tim. In episode #093 09/18/2011, you mentioned a story that you had heard where John Lasseter confronted an accountantneer asking him, “are you going to stand at the entrance and tell people that the attraction came in on budget at the expensive of a better experience?” The story you heard is true, but slightly different and was told by Lasseter himself during an imagineering panel during the 2009 D23 Expo. I don’t remember which segment he says this in, but it can be found on Youtube under, “Imagineering Pixar for the Disney Parks, (1 of 8) D23 Expo 2009″. It’s a great discussion and this story was very well received as well as refreshing to hear from a Disney executive. Truly an unusual moment.

Well, I found that story. It’s at 1:32 in part 8 of 8. Imagineering Pixar for the Disney Parks, (8 of 8) D23 Expo 2009

    Here is the link:

You can see on John’s face that maybe he opened up too much, but what a great story and wait till you see the response.

Hi there, do you have an RSS feed for both the normal podcast and the un-censored version?

    Many thanks.

  4. Jamie Darani

I have finally figured it out after trying since October and it was something so simple it never occurred to me. The two links that you supplied for the RSS will not work, they will just state that there is no content available. If you remove the /rss at the end and attempt to add that feed, it will work correctly.

So the two correct feed links are:
    http://www.wdwfanboys.com/walt-disney-world/podcast/feed/
    http://www.wdwfanboys.com/walt-disney-world/uncensored-podcast/feed/rss/

  5. Jamie Darani

My apologies, that final link should have had the rss/ removed from the end as well.

    • Tim

      Thanks for the info Jamie!

Your more than welcome, glad I can finally listen in, was listening to your uncensored podcast all the way home (3 hour journey) yesterday and was rolling up with laughter on the train.
