On this week’s episode of the WDW Fan Boys podcast we (OK, mostly Tim) discuss three different lands in the Animal Kingdom: The Oasis, Discovery Island, and Camp Minnie Mickey. We talk about attractions, animal exhibits, and restaurants. Additionally, we share our thoughts on what would have happened if Disney built Beastly Kingdom.

On this week’s episode of the WDW Fan Boys Podcast we answer some listener questions. We start with a comparison of Disneyland and Disney World attractions, followed by what attraction we would like to stay in over night. We try our hands at some armchair imagineering, discuss our merchandise options and some classic Disney travel videos.
On this week’s episode of the WDW Fan Boys Podcast we discuss Current Attraction music. In addition to the obvious selections like The Haunted Mansion, Soarin’ and Splash Mountain, to less likely candidates such as Stitch’s Great Escape, we extend the topic even further to area music as well. Once again we’re playing the music live during the recording so the sound quality isn’t top notch, but we make up for it with an extra dose of poop jokes.
On this week’s episode of the WDW Fan Boys podcast we discuss some of our least favorite moments in attractions. We discuss things like the final scene in Carousel of Progress, the various foul scents in It’s Tough to be a Bug, Journey Into Imagination and Stitch’s Great Escape as well as several other attractions. We also introduce a new segment we’re calling “In case you missed it…”
Who’s idea was it to have a 7:05 AM flight? Of course I’m operating on no sleep, but hey it’s what Walt would have wanted. So this is the first post of my trip report to Disneyland. You can also follow along with my updates on twitter but clicking on that link over there to [...]
Back on Episode #010 of our podcast we (OK really just myself) discussed the use of Fastpass over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I find that despite how expansive this park is, touring while using Fastpass is not particularly difficult. As we said on the show, typically the best approach is to grab a Fastpass for [...]
On this week’s episode, the guys discuss the use of Fastpass in the Animal Kingdom, different types of Animal poop, the attractions that should eliminate Fastpass, and those that should add it.
**Please Note: In our discussion about attractions that should add Fastpass, we neglected to mention Tomorrowland Speedway. This was an oversite, as this attraction probably needs it the most.**
February 11 Today was our last day, and we arrived at the Magic Kingdom a little after 9:00 AM. We saw some giraffes on our balcony this morning, but I had already packed the camera. Some of you may be aware that I collect Fastpasses in a scrap book of sorts, and some of the [...]
February 10 Before I get into our trip report on the day, I’d like to discuss some of the announcements for this summer at Walt Disney World. When we pulled into the parking lot at Epcot today we noticed some signs telling press to go a different direction. I quickly started trying to figure things [...]
This is Part 2 in a 3 part series discussing the Theme Park Wars between Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando. Part 1 (January 13, 2010) Part 3 (January 15, 2010) Part 4 (September 21, 2011) Part 5 (December 5, 2011) April 22, 1998: Animal Kingdom opens its doors. Initially opening with a slate [...]
Our last day was raw and rainy, causing us to duck out early. We arrived at the Polynesian Resort at around 10:15, and we met up with my aunt, uncle and cousin over at the Jungle Cruise. Our Skipper was mediocre, the skipper we had a week ago was definitely better. It’s fairly apparent that [...]
Today was the fourth straight day with incredibly light crowds. Typically in the week after Thanksgiving there is one or two days that are light but the rest of the days have leveled out. Take a look at the end of the post for the wait time information taken from today, and make note of [...]
