Tim’s Trip Report – 09/05/2012 – Magic Kingdom Construction

While visiting the Magic Kingdom on September 5th, we had the good fortune of seeing Enchanted Tales with Belle during limited previews. This brought us back to a “construction area”, really it was behind a door that opened up to another walled off area of construction.

The attraction is a Meet and Greet/mini interactive stage show but it has many impressive elements including a Magic Mirror, an animatronic wardrobe, and an animatronic Lumiere. Cast Members stood in the back of every room taking notes, and it was clear that the cast members were still learning the script and the timing of all of the attraction components. Having said all that, the attraction should be a hit for families with kids. There are many complicated and impressive effects but the interaction with Belle itself is rather simple.

In addition to Enchanted Tales with Belle, I took photos and video of other components of Fantasyland both from the Enchanted Tales with Belle area and the rest of Fantasyland that is currently open to guests. I also included a photo of the constructions walls up near the former location of Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats.
