Drops/Quotes
“Back up the fricken truck, what are you talking about?”
Prior to Episode #022 Paul gets lost amidst the discussion.
“Jeremy Irons Shut Up!”
In Episode #017, we had a conversation about Spaceship Earth where a clip of Jeremy Irons kept interrupting Paul.
“Pump up the volume, Pump up the volume, Pump up the volume, Dance! Dance!”
During part of our Episode #017 preshow discussion we were recording an advertisement for Inside the Magic’s ITM Con. The background music of the Inside the Magic segment that Tim played for Paul and Brett had a bit of a techno beat causing Brett to channel his inner DJ.
“Put the Fan On”
Brett to his son leaving the bathroom, after we’d finished recording Episode #012.
“So what we would have to do, is shoot Tim #1″
In Episode #014, our discussion of transportation took a turn for the worse. In his explanation of how teleportation would lead to cloning, Paul explained that we can’t have two “Tim’s” and that one of them must suffer. It is also believed that this launched Paul’s violence streak towards Tim, however Paul’s therapist has yet to uncover that.
“What a Weiner”
Paul before Episode #013. The context is him calling out Brett for disappearing right when we’re about to record.
“Like a monkey on a cupcake…”
One of Brett’s sayings, when someone is all up in his stuff.
“Brett, nobody cares…”
Paul’s attempts to get Brett to stop talking, it rarely ever works.
“Capt. Lou”
What Brett refers to Lou Mongello by.
Question of the Week
Beginning with Episode #017, Brett introduced the question of the week as a thought provoking end to each show. Previous questions of the week include:
Episode #017: “With pleasure island gone, is Animal Kingdom going to take in all of the cougars?”
Episode #018: “Doesn’t anyone else find it weird that Prince Phillip likes kissing unconscious princesses?”
Episode #019: “Why do I get a fuzzy feeling when I think of the acronym for Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor?”
Episode #020: “Speaking of Pinocchio, I live in a rural area, and how come none of my crickets give goal setting advice?”
Episode #022: “How long do you think the marriage between Eric and the Little Mermaid will last?”
Episode #023: “If a cat was dressed like Zorro and finished off his victims with a blade and a bad accent, would this be a lawsuit from Dreamworks?”
